Do I need a fishing license? No. We have a license that covers everyone on the boat.

Do we need to bring bait? No, unless specifically instructed otherwise.

Do we need to bring tackle? No. We provide all the tackle you need, unless you are advised otherwise.

Can we bring alcohol on the boat? Yes, but drunkenness will not be tolerated and will result in the immediate termination of the trip, with payment in full, regardless of elapsed time.

What should I wear? A hat and sunglasses, and non-marking deck shoes or boots. You should also bring warm clothes in the spring and particularly in the fall. In the spring and fall, it is typically much cooler on the water, so be prepared!

How big is the boat? It is 40′ with an enclosed toilet (porta-potti). We are inspected by the US Coast Guard annually and licensed for up to 17 people. Usually 12 people per trip is plenty.

Will the crew clean the fish? Yes. Fish cleaning is available for an additional charge, usually about $10 per person, depending upon the amount of fish, of course.

Are food and drinks provided? No. Please bring your own food and drinks and refrain from bringing glass bottles if possible.

What is the weather policy? Cancellations due to weather are at the sole discretion of the captain. Deposits will only be refunded or transferred if the captain determines the weather is/will be too bad to fish on the scheduled day. Rain is typically not a consideration. Wind direction, velocity, abundance of fish and the heartiness of the crew are all considerations of whether or not the trip will go. Your safety and comfort are our number one concern. We understand that fishing is supposed to be fun and we always consider that.

Can we smoke on the boat? Smoking is STRONGLY discouraged and will only be tolerated in limited amounts. If you or your crew do smoke, please keep it to a minimum and NEVER throw butts in the water.
